Happy Holidays! We hope this season finds you well, whether you are here in the Roaring Fork Valley or somewhere warm. Either way, we are grateful you are part of our community. December always gets us thinking about what matters most—the people, the places, and taking care of both.
A few years back, we started doing something different. Instead of sending closing gifts, we started making donations to local nonprofits in our clients' names. Clients choose the organization. We make the contribution. It's become one of our favorite parts of what we do.
Where Your Closings Made a Difference
This year, thanks to the clients we've worked with, we were able to support some really great organizations doing quiet, important work throughout the valley:
Aspen Animal Shelter (more than once!)
Mount Sopris Montessori School (twice)
These groups and their volunteers are out there every day – feeding families, teaching kids to read, caring for animals, creating opportunities. They're the backbone of our local and national communities.
Why We Do It
We are so lucky to work in a place we love, with people who care about it as much as we do. Real estate is personal. It's about home, and home is about community. When we get to help someone buy or sell, we want that transaction to leave something behind – something good, something lasting. If you're thinking about year-end giving, we'd encourage you to consider these organizations or any of the others doing meaningful work in the Roaring Fork Valley. They need support now more than ever.
